DAILY ROUTINE

14 months old – 18 months old

8:00 AM – Greet children and parents. Encourage children to eat breakfast. Staff provides help to children when needed.
8:45 AM – The last child we receive eats breakfast.
9:00 AM – Infants are taken in a group to have activities such as finger plays, dance, balls, puzzles, and more. Diaper changes are provided as needed.
9:45 AM – Staff soothes children and provide them milk as they need it. Staff put infants on their cribs for a nap.
11:30 AM – As children awaken, staff change diapers and wash children’s hands to have lunch.
12:00 PM – Staff gets the group ready to enjoy outdoor or indoor activities (based on the weather) with a transition activity. Activities that promote gross motor, fine motor, and cognitive development are provided. Cars, balls, floor exercises, dance, assembling shapes, puzzles, books, songs, music, finger plays, conflict solving, and more.
2:30 PM – Staff helps the infant group in cleaning up, changing diapers, and washing hands to have a snack.
3:00 PM – Staff moves the group indoors or outdoors (based on the weather) with a song transition so they can go to sleep in their cribs. Teachers or staff soothe the infant with books (for those who can’t sleep) and provide enjoyment for the older group.
4:00 PM – As children awaken, staff gets them ready to drink their milk. Diaper changes are provided as needed.
4:30 PM – The infant group move indoors or outdoors (based on the weather) with a transition activity such as puzzles, balls, books, assembling shapes, and outdoor training. Group is then ready to receive their parents.
5:00 PM – The last child leaves.

DAILY ROUTINE

18 months – 4 years old

8:00 AM – Greet children and families. Encourage children to sit and eat breakfast. Clean up and wash hands.
9:00 AM – Teachers or staff gather children in groups for fine motor activities. Potty training and diaper changes are provided as needed.
9:30 AM – Teachers gather children with a song transition for circle time. Children learn stories, songs, numbers, shapes, colors, phonies, finger plays, art, and collage. Children get dismissed to wash hands and eat snacks.
10:30 AM – Pre-planned activities such as gross motors, fine motors, tricycles, cars, climbing sand, water, dramatic play, gardening, and conflict solving are provided.
11:30 AM – Children move indoors with a song transition to wash hands and enjoy ready-made lunch.
12:00 PM – Staff or teachers helps children clean up, use the bathroom, supervise potty training, change diapers as needed, and wash hands.
12:30 PM – Staff or teachers soothes children. Children get on their nap mat or crib.
2:00 PM – As children awaken, staff or teachers help them put their mats away. Staff help children with toileting, potty training, diaper change, and washing hands.
3:00 PM – When they are ready, children stay indoors or outdoors based on the weather to have snacks. The staff helps clean their eating area and return to free play.
3:15 PM – Teachers or staff invites children to a pre-planned activity and enjoy play doll activity and more.
4:30 PM – Teachers or staff invites children to pre-planned puzzle activities, assembling shapes, and card activities. Everyday activities vary.
5:00 PM – The last child leaves.
